APEX LOUNGE at SEVENTH HIGH Global City Taguig

Apex Lounge  @   Seventh High.

Everyone has always reminisced our childhood days. We had the opportunity to go back to our memory lane when we had a food blogger night at Apex.

We were lucky to have some of the all time favorites of pasta, corndog, and pizza (Adobo Pizza).

At the beginning, we often talked about the place in general. Location wise, they are right at the heart of Bonifacio Global City. Just beside one of the known reputable club, you definitely can’t go wrong. The ambiance is quite impressive.  It gives you a modern and classy feeling. The great and nice servers they have. A warm smile is a must.  A perfectly and  friendly accommodation is a number one in the on every guest’s request.

The long night had begun well;

Ambiance: Check,
Service: Check.

MEATBALL PASTA

OLD AGED JAGERMEIFTER

MINI CORNDOGS

Now the fun part begins,

I had first tasted the ........

'mini corn dogs' ~ the appetizer.  deep fried sausages dipped in a special corn batter served with honey mustard.

I am not really a corndogs fan, but this corndogs is something I can rave about. It is made out of Hungarian sausage. Yes! Not the typical hotdog which just to say we offer corndogs but really it is just like a waffle. The consistency of the coating was nice, it was not over cooked, nor barely just around the sausage.  The honey mustard dip that comes with it is just a perfect pair it was not the typical honey mustard that can be too sweet or just too sour. So far, so good. Next in the list is;

'Meatball Pasta' ~ 3 inch Gorgonzola's-stuffed meatball on top of a bed of linguini's pasta with Red Wine

I am a Pasta Lover, Fan of every pasta cuisine. I was actually thinking that time on how can they meet or better yet exceed my expectations. First, the linguini's in itself was not over cooked. It's 'Al dente'. The red wine sauce that was used is just perfect. It was not over empowering that you would really feel and know that you are having a alcohol content.  It's has Phenomenal way pasta blends with the red wine sauce . Finely cooked Meat balls, but I have to be honest though, that I was actually focusing more on the pasta and the sauce since that two blown me away.

And lastly, I had the 'Adobo Pizza'. The Filipino authentic style of pizza. Well this is kind of a bold dish because this can either be a hit or miss.  Infusing two all-time favorite means you really have to taken it up a notch and not really over power one with the other. I'd rather say Apex did a good job. They were able to captured the Filipino taste of adobo and gave it a little twist.  It was something I’ll definitely try again.

For my final verdict of the experience: 4 stars.

"The experience was good but as they say there will always be a room for improvement"

Thank you for reading.
