My first trip to ILOCOS was not yet fulfilling. When my co-backpacker KIM ask me to join on Ilocos Tour 2013 with the group of mountaineers consists about 38 persons having 3 vans,and yet they are all strangers to me, so when the opportunity arose for me to finally pay the province a visit, there was only one thing to say, and that was 'YES'

And so, another get away has passed during entire lenten season. It was a pause and nature trip though we need to reflect sometimes during lenten days that enabled
Catholics to reflect on the life of Jesus Christ, and Christianity as a
whole, more in the Philippines than not, was well served by this
important religious remembrance likewise.
The heat is
relative to where you live. In inner cities, the heat is immeasurably
immense. Those who can afford it escape to cooler outskirts. And one
does not have to have a private vehicle to join the bus beater to Ilocos. Ilocos Norte
has buses with stations strategically located in Sampaloc and EDSA
where one can simply board and sleep the night away, safe, and in
air-conditioned style. And Ilocos Norte and Sur has a lot of tourist spot. Likely, you have to vent and search the hidden places of Ilocos and enjoy the scenic spot it has.
who will take you to scenic sights or historical places, and, along the
way, savor the province’s specials of 'bagnet', 'sorbetes (local ice cream)' and or 'empanada'.
